This is dependant a lot on the model of alternator or starter you my have but this typically takes us 2-3 days to turn around from the moment it arrives to the moment the courier picks up.

A genuine part is what you would buy from the dealership. It is what is fitted to the vehicle in the factory.

Aftermarket simply means made in a different factory to where the original/genuine part is made.

They will be the same physically in most cases and will do the same job.

It is a direct copy of the original/genuine one.
